how is rhetorical thinking different from regular thinking because we do not expect a answer back we just have the thoughts about what we thinking about with out having a answer or expecting one like when we do our unit two assignment we have to do rhetorical thinking by analyising a specific situation instead of a broad situation like instead of legalizing marijuana talking about how its legal in northern california or not talk just about same sex marriage talk about the process of them trying to make it legal in california how we have to talk about the specific situation more than the broader topic of it i really am not sure what rhetorical thinking is but using my critical thinking and my comprehensive skills i can try and figure it out

in class analyzing visuals

to the young girl holding the square she looks to young to be smoking and how she is holding it like she has done it before she is the brightest thing on the screen and she is the only person facing the camara and how she is staring at the other girl in front of her like she has a problem with her and that square is making her seem older like she is mad at the girl in front of her like she is telling her that she isnt suppose to be smoking
like the girl in the white is suppose to have our attention because she is the brightest thing on the screen and she is the center of the screen and how they look like they are based in the 1940s and they both look very young but the girl in the white looks like she is a little older than the girl she is looking at because of their build and what they are wearing looks like on just got done with a recital and the other is like her older sister who looks a little more beat up or worn down like she has been in the street all night
its about to girls arguing and one not looking to happy about what the other one has to say looking at it from our culture the one who you cant she her face would possibly be complaining about the girl in the white smoking but since we dont know when she may be complaining about something else
to show what you look like smoking squares and what your peers around you think about it because she looks a little worn down and not looking like she is taken good care of as the other girl looks like she is doing something and how she is mad that she is smoking and how people that do smoke squares really dont want to hear it but its how we feel

in class freewrite logos

i really did not have any parts that i didnt understand about logos i think it is alot more easier to understand than ethos becuasue it is not dealing with ethics that change with everyperson but yet is dealing with logic which is used with the brain more on common sense stuff than feelings and culture that you grew up around logos is to me is the easiest one to understand and to explain because it is dealing with something that everyone can base things on instead of how one person feels about something it is dealing with what everybody thinks and understands about the situation i use logos more than you use the other two because mostly everything i do everyday with logic more than ethos also using logos helps you solve more problems and i think thats why men use it more

in class show and tell

i brought my watch to me that makes a ethical appeal because of what it represents it represents time and what time means to me is everything because you will only be able to do things for a certain amount of time like living being able to play football being able to go to school and not pay bills or how long you will have the ones closest to you i use time for everything one thing that i really hate to do is be late i will always be on time people think that its strange that i have a watch and a phone but that is the emphasis i like to keep with time i set all my clocks five minutes fast so that im never late now on how long that you will be able to do things like live every second your time is counting down so you must enjoy every minute of it becasue you dont know how much time you have left on this earth so i choose to spend every minute enjoying it very few people have ever seen me upset because i dont know how much longer i have so why spend it being mad or i enjoy every workout i have for football because i dont know how much longer i will have to play the game so i must enjoy every second not wasting a day not being the best i can be because one day i know i will look back and i dont want to have any regrets that i didnt do my best

unit 1

i decided on the movie theaters i what made them appealing was i always go there so i am pretty fimilar with it they choose to make appealing movies that you havent seen to make you want to go see it they have a consession stand as soon as you walk in to make you have to look and smell what makes them their money they also put big signs of movies that have not come out yet bigger then the signs that of the movies that are already out to make you want to come back to see those movies and make you have a reason to come back and see it in the future everything they aim to do is revolved around making money and thats what i expect to see from them any way they can to try to make money and yes i think i am part of the target audience because i am a paying customer

freewrite 1/22

monday i seen the movie my bloody valentine it was in three D and that was about the best part about it, it was more of a new age jason with a little twist at the end if you havent seen it it probably not the worst thing and i wouldnt suggest you wasit your money i wouldnt do it again if i had the chance also i seen notorious last friday now that was a good movie i guess they had to wait ten years to find somebody that looked and even talked like biggie but they did although he really couldnt rap like him but whats new not many people can considering he was one of the best lyrist to ever be in the game i really enjoyed how they had all the people that helped him get to where he was in the movie and how it didnt end on a funeral it ended on him with his family i am getting distracted by my teacher throwing in ideas about what to write i dont really like blogging to much i mean i see how people could get into it but it is just not my style all this typing aint what that is i can talk so if i really wanted to tell people what i was doing then i would just tell them this is just another electronic glorified way to let people know your business and for some reason people are making me do this to determine if i graduate

in class free write utah # 1

I have a link arguing about why Utah should be number one instead of Florida USC or Texas. Even though those are very talented teams with very talented individuals Utah did something that none of those teams did they went undefeated. they beat the team that was number one over half the season and beat the team that was responsible for USC only lost in a three point win over Oregon State. Texas had a great year but yet they lost to texas tech who was crushed in the cotton bowl by a under rated Ole miss team responsible for Florida's only loss of the year at the swamp i might add. Utah beat 3 top 20 teams and beat 2 top 11 teams and beat one top 5 team they beat michigan on a down year but they still beat them in ann arbor which no matter what kind of year they had that is hard to do they also beat a very good TCU team whose only loss was to Oklahoma

Born in Ruston, Louisisana grew up first part in Shreveport aka port city then moved to the great state of Texas formally known as Tejas. Moved to the city i now lay my head of Arlington aka swagg town Texas, now i attend TCU i am a sophomore im major in commuication and play on the football team number 7 in the nation i might add. i would like to learn how to blog and learn about what blogging is. i really dont write at all because i dont think i am a good writer.
